A brand experience exploration for A24's One Battle After Another: a limited-edition set of paired Motorola Pageboy III vintage-style pagers. Each paired set carries its own composition. When the two pagers are near one another, they synchronize and play the two parts together. Motorola Pageboy IIs appear in the film; the Pageboy III was selected for this exploration because its mechanical format better suited the paired musical behavior. This prop was featured in the film itself and was proposed as part of the A24 merchandise program. The project was specified and prototyped by Near Future Laboratory, and was ultimately deemed too complex to produce for the merchandise program.
