A Social History of the Smith Grind is a photographic record of the Smith grind, made across skateparks, pools, contests, and sessions from 2010 through 2013.

The project follows one trick across different skaters, stances, terrain, and moments. The sequence combines the Lightroom book selects with the finished exports gathered under the earlier working title Hello, Smith.
