Near Future Laboratory Privacy Policy
Introduction

Hi. Near Future Laboratory is committed to protecting your privacy. This page explains what information is processed when you use this website.

Information You Provide

We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it, such as when you submit a contact form, newsletter signup, or office hours signup. That information may include your name, email address, message, signup preferences, and the page or form context needed to respond to your request.

Analytics and Advertising Tracking

This website uses PostHog for simple site analytics so we can understand what people read, which pages are useful, and where the site needs work. We do not use advertising pixels and we do not sell analytics data.

For newsletter subscribers, tracked newsletter links may include a pseudonymous subscriber identifier so we can understand newsletter engagement and improve what we send. You can turn this off. Email addresses, raw subscriber records, unsubscribe tokens, and delivery tokens are not placed in client-side analytics code.

Third-Party Services

Some parts of the site rely on third-party services. Cloudflare Turnstile is used on forms for anti-spam protection. Calendly may be embedded or linked for scheduling project conversations. Some images, media, fonts, and embedded content may be served by external providers. Those services may receive normal technical request information, such as your IP address, browser details, and the page where the resource was loaded.

Cookies

The site may use first-party browser storage or cookies to remember your analytics preference and to support PostHog analytics. If you turn analytics off, that choice is remembered where your browser settings allow. Private browsing modes may clear the choice when the private session ends. Third-party services that you interact with, such as Calendly or embedded media providers, may set their own cookies or use similar technologies under their own policies.

Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect information you submit. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Please review it periodically to stay informed about how information is handled.
