Ubik may be my second favorite Philip K. Dick sci-fi novelsI think mostly because of the way it provides a counter narrative to thet echnologies of hacking and espinoage in the form of the telepathics and such. Every so often if I see an early edition of it I'll pick it up if only for the variation in cover art.
This copy of Ubik is the January 1977 Bantam paperback edition of Philip K. Dick's novel. It was completely reset in a new typeface and published in the United States and Canada by arrangement with Doubleday & Company, Inc. The printing history records the original Doubleday edition of May 1969 and a Dell edition of May 1970.
Ubik appears here as the January 1977 Bantam edition, with its black, red, and blue cover photograph preserved at its original 3:4 aspect ratio.
