Futures Thinking: Using a Multidisciplinary Approach brings together social research, data science, foresight, and participatory design. The book presents methods including horizon scanning, scenario building, and trend analysis for imagining possible and plausible futures. I contributed an interview essay about expansive futures work, speculative artefacts, AI, community, and the craft of imagining possible worlds.

I contributed an interview essay to Futures Thinking: Using a Multidisciplinary Approach. In it, I talk about expansive forms of visioning, stories and future artefacts, the bewildering arrival of large language models, and the social practice of imagining alongside other people.
