Last Friday in Office Hours Side Projects Edition, Kirby Ferguson introduced his new video project, “Infinite Remix.
You’ll know Kirby, who has been exploring how ideas change over time. In this video Kirby wanders into the ways that AI is shaping today’s creative scene. He discussed how machines are starting to work alongside humans, opening up new ways to create.
And in true Kirby fashion, he encourages us to think about the implications of these changes, not just for artists, but for everyone. And in true Near Future Laboratory style, we took the opportunity to discuss the video with Kirby, and to explore the broader implications of AI in creativity.
